Miracle in Pampanga: A Thank You Message from Among ED

To My Dear Friends and Kabalens,

Greetings of Peace!

Dakal a dakal pung salamat king anggang suporta, kasuyuan at pangading binie yu ban misulung ing kekatamung krusada keti balen Kapampangan!

Amidst the jubilation and euphoria over our crusade’s initial victory, I invite you to join me in silent prayer and thanksgiving. Our victory is clearly the work of a Loving God who orchestrated all our efforts, brought us all together, gave us a common purpose, and granted us with the strength and courage to carry on.

At the onset of our campaign, we could only dream of a victory that would breathe life to our aspirations of a just, peaceful and progressive Kapampangan society. That dream has come true and we are now confronted with the pressing task of healing the wounds of division before we can move on to deliver our promises of good governance and moral leadership.

With much humility, let us offer our hands in a gesture of reconciliation to everyone who may not have responded to our call to join us in the crusade or those who may have held contradictory stand on the issues that we have vowed to struggle against. They, too, have a place in this Kapampangan movement if they are sincerely dedicated to the mission of working for the common good of the people.

The victory is not mine alone just as the crusade has never been about me or my person. Everyone - young and old, rich and poor, has a stake in this movement that will benefit future generations of Filipinos in general and Kapampangans in particular.

Just as we kept our vigilance throughout those moments of uncertainty when most of us spent sleepless nights guarding the ballots, chasing the election returns, or keeping vigil at the provincial canvassing site, I beseech you now to keep that fire burning as we journey together for the next three years.

A lot of lessons can be learned from our EDsa Pampanga experience Let us take some time to reflect on these and allow these to empower us, make us more aware and more capable of exacting accountability from our public officials and claiming our rights as sons and daughters of a blest and bountiful province.

Isundu ta ya pu ing pegumpisan tamung krusada para king pamagbayu at mayap a pamangobyernu. Luid ya ing Guinu! Luid ya ing Kapampangan! Luid ka kabalen a tinalakad ban misalbag ing sala keti balen at bansa tamu!

Signed:
